Two Cases of Reye’s Syndrome

Abstract
|
|
|
Two cases of Reye´s syndrome has been reported. The diagnosis was established by clinical, laboratory and pathologic findings.
Case 1, 1 year and 10 month old male had survived completely about 10 days later. from the development of symptoms and signs, and case 2, 9 month old male had died about 24 hours later from the development of symptoms and signs.
This is the second reported case in Korean literatures.
Brief review of literatures on the Reye´s syndrome was done.
